How Much Does it Cost?
Re-enacting can be an expensive hobby. However, if you shop around you can find pretty good deals on both new and used uniforms and equipment. Initially, you will need trousers, a shirt, a sack coat, a kepi or bummer, brogans (shoes), a haversack, and a canteen. Altogether, you can expect to spend approximately $250 to $300. Some "sutlers" offer reasonably priced and quality economy packages for those just starting out. Check with Battery members for advice and recommendations.

How Much Time Will it Take?
Battery C meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 7 o'clock PM for its regular business meeting. Beyond that, you can participate in as many, or few, events as you choose. Battery C only asks that if you commit to an event, then you attend that event.

Can Families Participate in Battery Events?
Yes. Battery C welcomes participation by wives, husbands, sweethearts, and children. However, all participants must be attired in period dress to maintain the appropriate image.
